Our organization is fully committed to safeguarding the welfare of all children who benefit from our services. We recognize our responsibility to promote safe practices and create an environment in which children can play sport in the safest and most secure conditions.
The child protection system is designed to reinforce the values and mission of our academy. Given the academy's core purpose of providing sports education for children and youth at the highest standards, we have designed a set of protection measures that together create a system named Junior Protect.
The system will be implemented in all its forms and aspects by the end of 2025.
The pillars around which the system is built are:
1. Internal child protection policy.
2. Code of conduct applicable to all persons working directly with children.
3. Safeguarding Checklist prior to any activity organized by the academy involving children.
4. Establish key requirements for the recruitment of staff that will work directly with children.
5. Child protection training for all staff and volunteers working directly with children.
6.1. Conducting various information, awareness raising and prevention activities with children and their parents or legal guardians.
6.2. Conducting various actions to encourage the elimination of all forms of discrimination, racism, harassment, violence and to promote equality between children.
These activities will be structured as projects.
